'The Guardians' features a mesmerizing hand-engraved handle with 24K gold inlays by Sam Welch; The blade is hand-forged custom damascus steel; the one-hand button lock and the thumb stud are set with citrines. Sam Welch really chased the detail on this piece! He chose to depict two different styles of dragons - one with a scaled look, similar to an alligator and the second with a smoother finish, but tough enough to fend off a knights sword.
