The Cabernet 1102 is a beautiful fountain pen featuring a barrel in 10,000 year-old fossil Woolly Mammoth tooth, and a light structure in aerospace grade titanium and aluminum. The German-made nib is18K gold, the accents on the ebonite cap are in Mokume Gane, and the medallion is rose gold; the pocket clip is set with diamond. This beautiful writing instrument also features William Henry's patent-pending Wavelock™ cap closure system – a ring of chromium steel balls embedded in a titanium ring which are captured in wave-shaped grooves in titanium collars for closed and post positions.
The Cabernet 1102 is a limited worldwide edition of 250 pieces, the rare fossil Woolly Mammoth tooth is a fascinating testimony of prehistoric times; this is one of William Henry's most meaningful and rare writing instruments, each one of them imbued with a distinct and uique personality.
